Healing and Wellness Program

Bright Nest understands the importance of maintaining the Inuit culture and is dedicated to providing culturally appropriate activities as a part of our program. Whenever possible, Bright Nest partners with Inuit Elders in the community who can provide cultural activities, eg- bannock making, sewing, carving, and beading.

Community Access Program

We also believe that appropriate educational opportunities are vital in transforming lives. Bright Nest matches children to schools that are best suited for their individual needs. We partner with schools that are sensitive to our client's particular needs, backgrounds, and cultures.

Bright Nest Day Program

Bright Nest offers day programming designed to provide clients with opportunities to socialize, exercise, and learn. This program is intended to improve the lives of our clients, teaching new skills through a variety of activities and programs. In doing this, we train our residents to be able to live independently. Through this program, our aim is for clients to develop good communication skills, make their own personal choices and decisions, maintain good personal hygiene, learn domestic skills, develop hobbies and interests, and develop basic work skills. Programming is specifically tailored to meet individual needs.
